Devikulangara Grama Panchayat is a village panchayat in the Muthukulam Block of Alappuzha District, Kerala.
Vision
"To develop Devikulangara into a model village panchayat that ensures social justice, economic progress, and environmental protection through participatory governance and a sustainable development approach, thereby providing a high quality of life for all residents."
Mission
- Ensure access to safe drinking water, sanitation, and healthcare for all residents.
- Strengthen infrastructure development activities such as roads, street lighting, and public amenities.
- Promote agriculture, animal husbandry, and small-scale enterprises to enhance employment opportunities.
- Ensure the welfare of women, children, senior citizens, and persons with disabilities.
- Improve the quality and accessibility of education and healthcare services.
- Implement environmental conservation initiatives, including waste management, water conservation, and afforestation.
- Ensure transparent and accountable governance by incorporating public opinions through Gram Sabhas (village assemblies).
- Ensure that the benefits of government schemes reach all eligible beneficiaries.
